Matthew Hadnett has been guiding clients through informed financial decisions for over 30 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Early in his career, he climbed the ranks at Norwest and Wells Fargo Financial, becoming one of the top-performing District Managers in the country. In 2001, he joined South Bay Equity Lending as President & Owner, a role he continues to hold today. He is a licensed California Broker.

At South Bay Equity Lending, Matthew leads a loan brokerage firm specializing in real estate-secured financing, including commercial and residential loans, lines of credit, second and third mortgages, land and construction loans, mixed-use and industrial properties, as well as venture capital solutions.

Beyond his career, Matthew has been actively involved in his community. At Saint Lawrence Martyr School, he has served on the Parish Finance Council, chaired the SLM Golf Tournament, and was President of the Parent-Teacher Board. He Chairs the Men’s Cornerstone Retreat and was honored with the Light of Christ award at St Lawrence in 2023.

An avid hiker, Matthew completed his decades-long goal of hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail, spanning from Mexico to Canada in 2019. What began as an ambitious 2650 mile undertaking in 1998 culminated in a successful finish at the Washington-Canadian border 21 years later.

Matthew lives in Redondo Beach with his wife, Dana. Their three grown children now reside in Chicago,Washington DC, and London.
